Description

Reporting to the Director of Operations and working closely with the JFF-CINCY Manager, the JFF-CINCY Administrator will support JFF’s presence in the community through behind-the-scenes programming, fundraising, marketing, and support efforts.

DUTIES:

  • Update, manage and maintain a database of participants/interactions
  • Assist with logistics, marketing, and development of local engagement programs and and educational trainings
  • Contribute content to social media about the local JFF community and monitor social media sites to learn what is already being offered locally 
  • Deliver emotional support gifts to JFF clients
  • Deliver JFF swag and educational content to Fertility Clinics
  • Coordinate monthly support groups including communicating with therapist and confirming registrants
  • Market JFF services in the Jewish and local communities and manage advertising budget
  • Manage program surveys and collect client testimonials on a regular basis and following local city programs
  • Provide support in local fundraising and development efforts in partnership with the JFF development team
  • Facilitate in writing grant proposals and compiling data for annual grant reporting

POSITION DETAILS: 

  • No regularly set schedule outside of weekly team meeting (typically Monday mornings) 
  • Flexible work hours including nights and weekends
  • No assigned work site
  • Position requires traveling reasonable distances in a personal vehicle to work locations on a frequent basis

Requirements

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR POSITION:

  • BA degree preferred. 2-3 years of relevant experience in outreach/community organizing, longstanding volunteer experience is accepted
  • Savvy social media networking skills and proficiency in mobile technology
  • Energetic, amicable and flexible, self-motivated and highly organized
  • Excellent administrative, written and oral communication skills, and engaging interpersonal skills and telephone manner 
  • Impeccable organization and follow-through, with the ability to prioritize workload
  • Ability to multi-task and troubleshoot, able to work both independently and within a team 
  • Strong attention to detail is a priority
  • Knowledge of Judaism and the local community

SALARY: $25/hr
