POSITION SUMMARY:

The IT Client Engagement Specialist will oversee the technical aspects of the development and delivery of online programs and services for Jewish Family Service, including staff support for those leading programs and client support for program participants. As JFS has pivoted from in-person to online programs during the pandemic, this position will contribute to the enhancement of program delivery methods to allow for optimal participation.  

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
:  

REMOTE PROGRAMS TECHNICAL OVERSIGHT
  • Oversee the analysis of platforms utilized for delivering virtual/online programs
  • Oversee improvements and enhancements to delivering virtual/online programs
  • Oversee the coordination and implementation of agency online programs associated with program grants
  • Interact with virtual/online program leaders to help resolve issues related to program delivery
  • Coordinate services with the Director of Information Technology to insure compatibility of software and hardware needs
  • Prioritizes and responds appropriately to issues
  EQUIPMENT SOURCING, SET-UP AND DELIVERY
  • Oversee product options, pricing, and purchasing of tablets for clients
  • Prepare tablets and other equipment for client use
  • Deliver equipment to client homes, set-up and train on usage
  CLIENT/PARTICIPANT SUPPORT
  • Oversee training and coaching of program participants to increase participation in and comfort with virtual/online programs
  • Remote in to participants computers and tablets to trouble shoot and coach
  ORGANIZATION INTEGRITY
  • Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards
  • In collaboration with JFS IT Services, ensure security of program delivery and client information

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or certifications in Information Technology. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience; however new graduates will be considered
  • Outstanding customer service skills and a high-level professional demeanor in order to provide empathetic and respectful support to users
  • Experience with/knowledge of both Apple products and PCs
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Valid driver’s license plus appropriate automobile insurance as determined by our liability insurance company
  • Ability to work with a diverse population of individuals served by JFS which may include older adults, Holocaust survivors, those with varying levels of ability, and some who are not tech literate
  • Ability to work independently and to take initiative
  • Clear and precise in both spoken and written communication with strong attention to detail
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Knowledge of Jewish community is preferred
  • Russian Speaking desired
