“Peter brings with him an unparalleled Cincinnati professional network as well as deep job search knowledge,” said JVS Career Services CEO Joni Burton. “Peter had been volunteering for JVS Career Services for years, assisting our job search clients to land positions. We feel honored to now have Peter on board as part of our professional team.”

Peter comes to JVS Career Services after 40 years as a marketing and marketing communications professional. Peter has worked in a wide variety of industries that include consumer packaged goods, retail, publishing, healthcare, information technology, private aviation, professional services, and employee benefits. He has worked for well-known companies such as World Book Encyclopedia, JCPenney, American Heart Association, NCR, and NetJets.

Peter has passionately pursued and welcomed opportunities to assist individuals with their careers and share connections that lead to the next step in their journeys. In addition to fulfilling a volunteer role with many JVS Career Services clients, Peter co-facilitates the American Marketing Association’s Career Transition Group. Among his other nonprofit activities, Peter served on the Governing Board of the WE Lead Athena Program and continues to serve on the Steering Committee of the Greater Cincinnati HR Collaborative.

He and his wife, Linda, are members of Rockdale Temple, and Peter is proud to serve on the Jewish Federation of Cincinnati’s Planning & Allocations Committee.

“Having been the beneficiary of great advice early in my professional career, I can think of no better or more honorable way to ‘pay it forward’ than to share my advice and connections with individuals in their search for meaningful employment,” Peter said. “I am thrilled to join the professional staff of JVS Career Services because I now have the opportunity to positively impact individuals, as well as our community, on a full-time basis.”
