Mary Leep-Pichert is an Ohio Senior Health Insurance Information Program (OSHIIP) Community Liaison with the Ohio Department of Insurance. She joined OSHIIP in 2014.
Mary conducts Medicare training seminars for a network of volunteer counselors as well as educational events for Medicare beneficiaries, their families and caregivers. Mary speaks on a wide variety of topics, including Original Medicare, Medicare Advantage Plans, Medicare Supplemental Insurance, Medicare Part D, and Medicare/Medicaid. Mary participates in the annual Medicare “Train the Trainer” Workshops and the annual Medicare SHIP Conference.
Before joining OSHIIP, Mary had a long career in the retail industry serving as a District Manager, Regional Training Supervisor, and Marketing Coordinator.
The Ohio Senior Health Insurance Information Program (OSHIIP) is a state and federally funded program that educates, counsels, and advocates for Medicare beneficiaries. OSHIIP provides free health insurance information and services for people with Medicare. Founded in 1992, OSHIIP assists Ohio Medicare beneficiaries and their family members through a toll free hotline at 1-800-686-1578, their website www.insurance.ohio.gov, a speakers bureau, educational publications, and a network of more than 800 statewide trained and certified volunteers.
