SCHOLARSHIPS FOR POST SECONDARY STUDENTS

JVS Career Services administers a number of scholarship and grant programs designed to assist persons facing the financial challenges of a post secondary education. One unified application is used to apply for all of these programs.

The following provides information about the programs administered by JVS Career Services:

Gus Hilb established the Hilb Scholarship Fund through a bequest to the Jewish Federation of Cincinnati in 1955 in honor of his parents, Mannis and Yetta Hilb. The fund encourages residents of Greater Cincinnati to apply for a need-based academic scholarship. Applications can be made for colleges/university enrollment, professional training programs, and/or short-term vocational training programs in non-academic fields. Hilb candidates are also considered for grants issued from the Heldman, Guthman, Saidel and Weiss Endowments according to the individual endowment guidelines.
